It is the second book in the Hunger Games series. All three books are written by Suzanne Collins. The trilogy of books would mostly fall into the science fiction and fantasy subgenres of fiction. After she returns she tells Gale about and he decides he wants to stay and fight the capitol. After a public beating of Gale, Katniss realizes she is in love with him and agrees to stay instead of run with Peeta. Later she goes into the woods and meets two women. they explain they are from District Eight and are trying to find the remains of District 13 where they believe rebels are hiding. Later on, television Snow announces the before mentioned Quarter Quell.
